Telecom & Critical Comms

From the moment a disaster takes the network down to critical field operations in places that never had one — Solent combines satellite, cellular, and mesh technologies into communication that does not stop. Deployable comms containers, a self-healing field mesh with up to 50 km of reach, and private 5G networks that keep every byte on site.

  • Satellite + 4/5G + mesh
  • 300 m Wi-Fi bubble per unit
  • Up to 50 km mesh reach
  • Data-sovereign private 5G

Why telecom & critical comms

  • Survives the outage

Satellite uplink plus 4/5G keeps teams and citizens online even when every terrestrial network is down.

  • Reaches beyond infrastructure

The self-forming mesh carries secure data up to 50 km through terrain where no infrastructure exists.

  • Keeps data on site

Private 5G gives ports, factories, and campuses an isolated cellular domain their data never leaves.

  • Powered on arrival

Generator, UPS, and solar hybrid energy make every unit independent of the grid from the first minute.

Disaster & Emergency Communication System

When the network collapses, the container keeps everyone online.

A mobile, independently transportable communication unit developed for fast, secure communication in disasters and emergencies. Even when the terrestrial network is cut, it keeps users online over satellite and cellular links. Deployment follows five steps — position, power up, connect, serve, coordinate — bringing up firewall-protected satellite internet at 20/3 Mbps on every model and an onboard telephone exchange serving up to 200 satellite-phone subscribers with domestic 0850 and international (+44 / +41) numbering. LED solar exterior lighting and an 8-port USB charging point serve disaster victims, alongside a ready disaster & first-aid kit in three package tiers across three container classes sized to the mission. KONTEVA also serves as the mobile C2 unit of the Autonomous Field Detection & Command Platform.

  • Satellite + 4/5G communication; 300 m wireless Wi-Fi coverage
  • Generator, UPS, and solar power — hybrid inverter, gel battery, 230 Wp panels
  • Data cabinet, router, and 3 satellite phones
  • Optional PTZ camera, public-address, and lighting systems

Field Mesh Communication Infrastructure

The backbone of autonomous field systems.

A 5G-based, satellite-backed, self-forming mesh network that builds itself where no infrastructure exists — and heals itself when a node drops. It carries secure data at ranges up to 50 km, linking surveillance poles, drones, command containers, and sensors into one live fabric. This is the same backbone that connects the autonomous field-surveillance platforms.

  • Self-building and self-healing mesh topology
  • Radio, cellular, and satellite redundancy
  • Low-latency data sharing between edge-AI nodes

Private 5G Network Solutions

A cellular network that is yours alone.

Dedicated, isolated 5G networks for ports, factories, campuses, airports, and critical facilities. Data never leaves the site: a private cellular infrastructure with low latency and high capacity that forms the secure backbone of autonomous systems, IoT, and operational technology (OT) networks.

  • Dedicated core network — data sovereignty and an isolated security domain
  • Low latency and high bandwidth for autonomous vehicles, UAVs, and robotics
  • Network slicing guarantees capacity for critical traffic
  • Integrates existing Wi-Fi / wired infrastructure and field mesh networks
  • Local R&D and end-to-end install-and-operate service in the Karel partnership
